Ms. Fluffy-tail was asked by the King bunny to perform a simple scouting mission to a nearby field to find out if there was food enough for the burrow. Ms. Fluffy-tail reluctantly took the job and headed out to the field. On her way to the field, Ms. Fluffy-tail ran into Pete-a-bunny. After some simple greetings, Ms. Fluffy-tail was told that there was a kitten in the field and that Pete had to hide from the kitten in order to escape back to the burrow. Pete couldn't determine if there was any food in the field. Ms. Fluffy-tail continued to the field after speaking with Pete. She spotted a red and white kitten far off in the distance as she approached the field. At the field she found a variety of vegetables and decided to pick two carrots and place them in her bunny bag. While turning to head towards the burrow, Ms. Fluffy-tail realized the kitten was in her path. Boldly Ms. Fluffy-tail approached the kitten to speak with him. Oddly enough they could communicate, so she offered the kitten a carrot. The kitten snarled and declared that he only ate live rodents and never would eat a vegetable such as a carrot. Ms. Fluffy-tail then asked if they could be friends, but the kitten wanted to know what was in it for him? Ms. Fluffy-tail suggested that she could return with some other bunnies for the kitten to feast on if he let her go. The kitten agreed and off Ms. Fluffy-tail hopped returning to the burrow. Instead of approaching the king, Ms. Fluffy-tail found Pete and told him about a beautiful bunny she met named Emily. Ms. Fluffy-tail told Pete that Emily was interested in meeting him by the field. Pete was curious so he left the burrow with Ms. Fluffy-tail and they approached the field. The kitten pounced and tore Pete to shreds right in front of Ms. Fluffy-tail. Ms. Fluffy-tail fled back to the burrow. At the burrow, Pete's mother bunny approached Ms. Fluffy-tail and asked her if she had seen Pete. Ms. Fluffy-tail told the truth and said she had last seen him near the field. Pete's mother went to the field, found some blood and realized her son had been killed by the cat. Pete's mother went to the king, and the king requested an audience with Ms. Fluffy-tail. Ms. Fluffy-tail then lied and withheld information from the king, but he was wise and realized something was wrong; especially since she hadn't returned to complete her mission. Ms. Fluffy-tail was exiled from the burrow after a few harsh words to her king bunny. Ms. Fluffy-tail refused to go, so a guard bunny had to toss her out and this hurt her badly. It was getting late so Ms. Fluffy-tail decided to return to the field to find her friend the kitten. Unfortunately, it got dark rather quickly and all Ms. Fluffy-tail could see was some glowing eyes up in a tree. Instead of hiding, she boldly kept heading to the field. Ms. Fluffy-tail was quickly attacked by an owl and was soon dinner.

Blinky bunny gladly took the job and headed out to the field. On his way to the field, Blinky bunny ran into Pete-a-bunny. After some simple greetings, Blinky bunny was told that there was a kitten in the field and that Pete had to hide from the kitten in order to escape back to the burrow. Pete couldn't determine if there was any food in the field. Blinky bunny continued to the field after speaking with Pete. He spotted a red and white kitten far off in the distance as he approached the field. At the field he found a variety of vegetables and decided to pick four carrots and place them in his bunny bag, he realized that four was too heavy and it was ripping his bag apart. So, he decided to carry only two carrots. While turning to head towards the burrow, Blinky realized the kitten was in his path. Having heeded Pete's words, Blinky hid in the shadows of the field's crops. Soon after the kitten left his sight, Blinky bunny returned to the burrow as fast as he could. Blinky bunny approached the kind with good news of a crop. Blinky bunny was rewarded with another job to safely bring 10 harvester bunnies with him to gather some food for the burrow. Blinky bunny returned to the field with the 10 buns, but he saw no sign of the kitten. After the bunnies stared gathering, Blinky saw the kitten approaching once again. Blinky bunny told the other bunnies to hide and he did the same. The kitten seemed to know that other animals were in the field and started approaching cautiously. Blinky bunny darted out and started to run as fast as he could. The kitten couldn't catch him, and soon returned to the field. Blinky bunny realized his pursuer had stopped and returned to field. Blinky bunny had to save the others so he selflessly ran back to the field, yelled to the other bunnies to flee and threw himself between the 10 bunnies and the kitten. Needless to say, Blinky bunny was torn apart, but the 10 bunnies returned to the burrow safely with a story of the brave Blinky.
