D&D Miniatures Tournaments at HubCon XVI

September 19th-21st 2008

We scheduled the following tournaments:

  • 200 point sealed limited tournament where players buy a starter and/or booster from a vendor. 
  • 200 point constructed assault
  • 100 point constructed assault
  • 500 point assault with huge figures
  • 400 point sealed limited with huge figures where players buy a starter and/or booster from a vendor. 

Prizes sponsored by Wizards of the Coast and FLGS.

100-point Standard
Bring your best warband and prepare to do battle in our 100-point standard tournament. # Swiss rounds dependent on # of players. Product rare prize for top placed finisher, all players receive a miniature from booster draft.  Tournament entry fee is free.  Extra figures or Warbands may be available to borrow.

200-point Standard
Bring your best warband and prepare to do battle in our 200-point standard tournament. # Swiss rounds dependent on # of players. Product rare prize for top placed finisher, all players receive a miniature from booster draft.  Tournament entry fee is free.  Extra figures or Warbands may be available to borrow.

500-point Extreme Standard
Bring your best warband and prepare to do battle in our 500-point extreme/epic tournament. Using huge and epic figures is allowed and recommended.  # Swiss rounds dependent on # of players. Product rare prize for top placed finisher, all players receive a miniature from booster draft.  Tournament entry fee is free.  Extra figures or Warbands may be available to borrow.

400-point Sealed Limited Extreme
Commanders rally random creatures and rapidly send their best 400-point warbands scurrying to do battle in a race to dominate the dungeon. Build from two D&D Miniatures Huge Booster Packs and vie to be victorious.  A 400 point faction-less warband will be built from the figures contained in the two boosters or a booster and a starter pack.  # Swiss rounds dependent on # of players. Product rare prize for top placed finisher, all players receive a miniature from booster draft.  Tournament entry fee is the cost of 2 boosters.  Booster packs should be purchased at vendor booths in advance before the tournament and bring to the gaming room unopened.

200-point Sealed Limited

Prize boosters dependent on # of players participating.  Possible prize packages include:

  • 4-6 players = 1 booster or at least 1 miniatures per player

  • 7-9 players = 2 boosters or at least 2 miniatures per player

  • 10-12 players = 3 boosters or at least 2 miniatures per player

  • 13-15 players = 4 boosters or at least 2 miniatures per player

  • 16-20 players = 5 boosters or at least 3 miniatures per player

  • Sealed tournaments may have adjustments in prize support


 

Tournaments will be DCI sanctioned
